To Jason and the Boddam Team.
I've been "hooked" on the Boddam goalie equipment ever since being loaned a pair of pads to try several years ago. I play AA rep hockey and have found the comfort/fit and safety levels are second to none.
The other reasons why I will wear Boddam as long as possible is their stellar customer service and the unbeatable lifetime warranty.
I have popped into the Boddam facility many times for Jason to make minor adjustments to my pads while I wait (always at no charge, you can't get that with the other brands of equipment) and he drops whatever he's in the middle of and takes care of me. Jason is a wealth of information and assistance. I also like the fact that they are Canadian owned and made, and my gear can be custom made for me!
Jason was also generous enough to let me test drive the new pads they have just designed, the "Refuze". They are awesome!! Thanks again Jason and the Boddam Team.
Keep up the good work. I will and do recommend Boddam to anyone who asks. (now if you could make a Boddam goalie stick my gear would be a complete set!!)

From the first time I met Jason, I immediately felt confident in the product, he always puts the goaltenders first. I walked in the shop and he immediately wanted to make me as comfortable as possible.

I’ve used Boddam pads for over 3 years now, and it’s been all on one set! I purchased my XCell’s in the spring of my Major Bantam year and have used them ever since. The comfort and durability have been second to none, as I still wear them to this day, and they still are holding up well. I’ve used almost every pad manufacturer in my career, and Boddam has been the best, hands down. I’ve won numerous tournaments and championships with them strapped to my legs. The gloves are also second to none in quality and performance, and even the palm material hasn’t deteriorated much.

For me to perform at my best, I need to feel comfortable and safe in my equipment, Boddam has done all that and more for me!

Get the best, and just go with Boddam!

My son's first new set of pads were from a company which has it's gear made over seas, and while they seemed to do the job, I was disappointed with how quickly they deteriorated...on a six year old. That, matched with the fact that he was sized incorrectly at the "super store", had us looking for another set after less than a year.
As any parent with a young goaltender knows, getting new equipment can be a nightmare.They are used to what they have, and anything different feels uncomfortable, and can be distracting.
I had purchased a Boddam catcher for myself a year earlier, and I was impressed by it's game ready feel and durability, so with this in mind we headed to Alton (Nirvana!!), where Jason took the time to measure my son, ask about his "playing style", explain the differences in his equipment lines, and to fit him properly.
Thanks to Santa, Grandma, Mom and Dad, new XCELL pads, blocker and catcher were under the tree Christmas morning, and after his first practice he wanted to use his new gear only. Between proper fit, performance, and new found confidence in his equipment, my son has made great improvements in his game.
I am so impressed with the Boddam line, the lifetime warranty and with the service that Jason provides, that I recently outfitted myself with new pads, blocker, catcher, pants and body armour. I have been very impressed with the feel and performance, especially with the XCELL pad design. The fit and strategic support has vastly improved any stress and fatigue in my ankles, knees and hips.I am turning 40 in August can't wait for this season to start!! Protection and Performance spanning generations.

My son has been wearing Boddam equipment for the past two seasons of AA hockey. When it was time to get new pads for next season due to a growth spurt, he didn’t want to even look at anything else.
He loves his Liberators and wanted a new set. Jason sat down with us and went over new developments with the pads and what my son should be looking for with his style of play. My son was very appreciative of the time Jason took answering our questions and his knowledge of his product.
For me it is the workmanship and service that makes the difference.
Although Jason has always told us to let him know if there were any problems and he would fix it right away, we have never had an issue with any of his gear.

I can not recommend Boddam equipment highly enough.

My son has been using Boddam equipment for 6+ years now.
We have always been happy with the excellent quality, but for us the service is the clincher. In our case, not only did Boddam take the time to fully discuss my son's equipment needs, but actually spoke with his goalie coach to discuss his playing style and physical characteristics, so that the equipment could be customized to his physique and game.

This level of service is not available anywhere else. I recently placed an order for another set of pads with blocker and catcher. It is the third set we have ordered from Boddam; we will be back for a fourth when be outgrows this set.

Just thought I would let you know I purchased a set of Xcell pads and gloves through Blake Hancock.

He dropped them off on the weekend and so I took my son (11 years old) out on the ice to try them out. HE LOVED THEM! The transition to the new pads was non-existant. He felt comfortable right away.

Blake was GREAT!. He was very informative,knowledgable and patient with us. He took the time to go over alot of things (Something you don't see nowadays).

I want to thank you again for the custom made equipment in the patterns and colors I designed. Your equipment just keeps getting better every year.
I started off using Heaton when I began goaltending 15 years ago and have tried other manufacturesl, but since we first met 12 years ago I have never looked back.
The equipment is comparable if not better than the name brands at a fraction of the price. It is made right here in Canada and service is fantastic.
Since I began using the Xcell pads my hips and back feel much better which helps since I play at least 5 times a week.

I heard you were in the midst of designing a new pad and glove? I am looking forward to purchasing them when they come out. If you could contact me when they are ready I would like to come by and see them.

I have been, I guess what you could say, a lifelong Boddam customer.
I have been using Boddam equipment for over 20 years and have yet to get a piece of protective wear that has not lived up to my highest expectations.
I have seen Boddam evolve from a small custom shop to a production facility that turns out quantity and quality that rivals any hockey goalie equipment manufacturer in the world today.
For me, having a set of pads that is made by Canadians, for the game invented and dominated by Canadians, means they know what is needed to perform at the highest levels of that game.
The difference I find when you really get down to the brass tacks is the service, and Boddam has always gone above and beyond when not only sizing correctly but repair and covering their equipment once it has been on the ice. I first saw Boddam pads on another goalie and my dad suggested we go meet Jason and try on a pair.
I have now been wearing Boddam equipment for 4 years and wouldn’t wear anything else. When I get new pads I can break them in, in just two or three practices. I felt like my chest protector and my gloves were game ready after one practise.
Jason always helps me pick the equipment that fits me the best and will customize it and make it in the colours that I want. He also customized my chest protector to fit me better so I have better range of motion.
I like that I can brining my skates and try the pads on the piece of artificial ice Jason has so I can get a feel for how they will perform when I start to use them on real ice.

My son loves Boddam equipment because he feels comfortable in it and he feels it helps him perform better. He also likes that Jason spends lots of time with him when we go up to the shop. Even if Joseph knows what he wants, Jason will make him try on different sizes and cuts just to make sure he will be happy with his pick.
I look at it from a different perspective, service and price. Boddam’s service is impeccable, Jason stands behind his work and as I have experienced, he will fix any defects for free. If a strap tears or a buckle breaks, or a pad gets ripped with a skate he will fix it at no charge.
Price point and quality are second to none, Joseph regularly gets extended use out of his pad, gloves, chest protector and pants, and the equipment continues to be used after we sell it to younger goalies which speaks to the quality.
Jason also continues to stand behind his equipment even after it has been resold to another goalie. I have had people thank me introducing them to the quality of Boddam equipment and the service and attention they receive from Jason.
Of all the goalies we meet in the rinks that are wearing Boddam equipment I have yet to find one that is unhappy with the quality, service and price of Jason Boddam’s products.

We were especially pleased with the customer service we received from you and the fact that you took an extreme amount of your time to ask a lot of questions so that you could HAND STUFF the pads so as to best serve my Son’s style.
Your recommendation as to the catcher and blocker were right on the money as now my Son will never play in another catcher again(excel).

I started using Boddam pads my Peewee year in hockey.
I never knew the about the company until I tried a pair of pads at a goalie camp in the area. After a week I decided the pads were great. Now going into my first Junior B season I am on my third set of leg pads. I feel there is no better quality and the price fits into a working family’s budget.
Now and for the past few years Boddam has made everything I wear in goal except my helmet and skates.
The costumer service is fantastic as well. I have no problem calling and asking for help on what sizes I need and any features I wish to have, right down to the size of the glove on the blocker and hand space in the trapper

The Boddam family is always friendly. Jason has even taken time from his schedule to show me the factory where the equipment is made and size me in the factory.
Each time I order from Boddam I know exactly what I am getting and where it came from and how it was made.
For a goaltender trying to make the top levels of hockey there is nothing better than having everything fit perfect.
