What is the Boddam history?

Boddam has been making protective equipment for hockey goalies since 1987,
under the Boddam brand name.
As well, Boddam has established strong relationships with other companies as a contract manufacturer, making equipment to their specifications.

Where are Boddam products made?

The Boddam factory is located about 45 minutes NW of Toronto, Ontario.
ALL of our products are made in Canada, by skilled and trained staff.
Boddam uses the same quality materials used throughout the industry for
professional level equipment. We take great pride in providing a MADE IN CANADA product.

Why are the prices much lower than competitors?

Like many custom manufacturers we have chosen to cut out the marketing and promotional
costs that the big guys have. We offer high quality products at great prices by utilizing
knowledgeable direct dealers / agents and keeping tight control on our overhead costs.

Do any NHL goalies use BODDAM equipment?

No. We do not pay licensing or endorsement fees, which helps us keep pricing
affordable while offering professional level quality and protection.

Can I customize my equipment?

Yes, colour customizations are available. Sizing customizations require a visit to the
factory for a personal fitting.

How do I get fitted for my equipment, what size should I order?

We feel it is very important that you are properly fitted.
Our agents and distributors are trained in our products and can ensure you get
exactly what you need. If an agent is not available in your area then our web site offers
measuring information to assist you. At any time do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.

What are delivery times?

We endeavor to maintain stock of standard sizes and color patterns.
Lead time on non standard colors or out of stock sizes is 3-6 weeks typically.

What is the warranty of Boddam products?

Boddam products are built to such high standards that we offer an industry leading Lifetime
Warranty on workmanship.
"Workmanship is defined as our sewing and assembly."
With the nature of Hockey and Lacrosse, and over time, materials will wear out.
When you invest in Boddam products, we will be there for any required after service.

**With the evolution of Lacrosse and the extremes goaltenders
go through plastics are warranted for one year.
Any heating or flattening of plastic will void all warranty.

**Valid on walk in service at our factory.
Customer is responsible for shipping.

How should I clean my new equipment?

Proper care and ongoing maintenance of your equipment ensures not only long life
but also good resale value.
Your equipment should dry thoroughly between uses at room temperature.
Pads can be washed with a warm damp cloth.
Pants and Arm / Chest protectors can also be wiped down and sprayed with an antibacterial spray. No equipment should ever be put in the washing machine.

What are payment options?

We accept VISA, MASTERCARD and Money orders.
Payment in full is required prior to shipment, or prior to manufacture on custom or non standard orders.
All prices are quoted in CDN $, Credit card charges will be converted to cardholder’s bank currency.
